Set Up TFM · Steps 2–4 of 6

Install TFM

Steps 2 & 3 · Install

Install TFM in four short steps.

Follow these in order on the iPhone that received your invitation. Mark each step complete when you're done — your progress is saved on this device.

Two different accounts

Please don't mix these up — they do different jobs.

Apple Account

Required for TestFlight

Your Apple ID — the account you use for the App Store. TestFlight and beta installs sign in with this.

TFM account

Used inside The Food Maestro

The account you create inside the TFM app after installing it. This is what personalizes your food intelligence.

Information: A note about your invitation

We don't post the TestFlight invitation link publicly. Your invitation was sent to the email you registered with. If you can't find it, use "I need help" to let us know.

Confirm your Apple Account

You'll sign into TestFlight with this. It's your regular App Store account — not a new TFM account.

Your TFM invitation arrives at the email you registered with for the pilot. That may be different from your Apple Account email — that's fine. The invitation can be accepted by whichever Apple Account is signed into TestFlight.

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top of the screen.
  3. If your name and email appear, you're already signed into an Apple Account. That's all you need.
  4. If you see "Sign in to your iPhone" instead, sign in there or create a free Apple Account.

Install TestFlight

TestFlight is Apple's free app for installing beta apps like TFM.
  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone.
  2. Tap the Search tab and search for TestFlight.
  3. Tap Get, then confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple Account password.
  4. Wait for TestFlight to finish installing. It's free.
  5. Open TestFlight once so it's ready to receive your invitation.

Accept your TFM invitation

Your invitation is a personal email. Please open it on the same iPhone.
  1. Open the invitation email on your iPhone.
  2. Tap the View in TestFlight button in the email.
  3. TestFlight will open and show The Food Maestro.
  4. Tap Accept to add TFM to your TestFlight.

Install TFM

Once you've accepted, install TFM from TestFlight.
  1. In TestFlight, tap The Food Maestro.
  2. Tap Install and wait for the download to complete.
  3. When Install becomes Open, tap Open to launch TFM.
  4. You're ready to create your TFM account and start onboarding.

Success: You're set up.

Next you'll create your TFM account and complete onboarding inside the app. The onboarding page walks through it step by step.

Updating TFM during the pilot

When we release a new beta build, TestFlight shows an Update button next to The Food Maestro. Please install updates whenever you're prompted so you're testing the latest version.

Beta builds expire 90 days after release — well beyond the two-week pilot — so there's nothing you need to do about expiry.
